GMC-CMI Corporation was started by George M. Casady in 1986 as a small construction management firm. Since then we have grown into a corporation that currently employs over thirty knowledgeable team members who each work hard every day to make sure we serve our clients with the most reliable and accurate services.

As the Company moved from simply making observations about construction projects to generating complex investigative reports and detailed project monitoring services, the fundamental tenets used in our beginnings as a construction management firm have been consistently carried forward. These foundations have shaped our operational philosophy and reporting procedures.

Our company history has not been without struggle. Due to the economic downturn of 2008 we were caught in the crosshairs of two industries that were highly affected: banking and construction. Our staff was trimmed, and we lost some of our valued clients to bank closures and buyouts. Surviving the downturn reinforced our core values and enhanced our efficiency more than ever.

The values that contributed to our survival include the use of truly qualified and passionate personnel throughout all levels of the Company, each of whom has been chosen due to their particular set of skills and steadfast work ethic. Our personnel are trained and certified within the Company’s on-going education program, and held accountable for their professional opinions and performance. We pride ourselves in being able to grow and adapt to the complex and ever changing challenges encountered in today’s construction and development industry.

Our inspectors are located in a wide variety of geographic locations, as dictated by our Client’s needs. The Company currently works actively in Washington, Oregon, Idaho, Western Montana, Utah, and Hawaii. We are constantly expanding our coverage areas to grow with our client’s ever-changing needs.
